Henceforth, BRBNFNDR, "we," "us," and "our" are synonymous with and include FNDR Technologies LLC, and are equivalent in all references within this document.
Here at BRBNFNDR, we are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that your personal information is handled in a safe and responsible manner. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal data when you use our services, website, and applications (collectively, the "Services").
We collect the following types of information:
This includes your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and any other information you voluntarily provide when you register for an account, make a purchase, or contact us for support. We collect date of birth for account and age-related purposes.
We collect information about your interactions with our Services, including IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, time spent on pages, and other related data.
We use cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience and gather information about your usage of the Services.
When you use our iOS or Android app, we additionally collect: (a) device identifiers and push notification tokens for delivering alerts and notifications; (b) photos you upload (e.g., bottle images for your collection), which are stored via Google Firebase Storage; (c) crash and error reports via Sentry to improve app stability; (d) in-app usage analytics via Firebase Analytics. We also store your collection data (bottle names, purchase prices, dates, locations, notes) and watchlist preferences. If you use the barcode scanner or camera feature, we send bottle-scan images to Google's Gemini service for identification. BRBNFNDR does not retain raw scan images after processing; Google handles these inputs under its applicable service terms. Purchase prices you add to your collection may be used in anonymized, aggregated form to improve our market pricing data (benchmarks).
If you choose contact matching or send an invitation, we process selected contact details and retain invitation details. Exchange features may retain ZIP code and optional location coordinates. Public exchange offers and member-created offer notes are visible to other members as permitted by the feature's visibility settings. Private exchange messages are retained and available to their intended participants.
We do not collect, store, or have access to payment-card or bank-account information. Payment information on our website is transmitted directly to Stripe, Inc. In-app subscription purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We receive purchase and transaction information, such as transaction or product identifiers, to manage entitlements and for analytics. Stripe, Apple, and Google are solely responsible for the security of your payment data in their respective contexts.
We use your information for the following purposes:
To process your transactions, manage your account, and improve the functionality of our Services.
We may use Apple Ads attribution together with our first-party registration, initial paid start, and subscription records to measure acquisition and subscription performance.
To send you updates, newsletters, promotions, and other communications related to your account or our Services.
To protect against fraudulent activities, unauthorized access, and ensure the security of our Services.
To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. However, we may share your information in the following circumstances:
We share your information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our Services. These include:
We may disclose your information if required by law, in response to a court order, or to protect our rights, property, and safety, as well as those of our users or the public.
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of our company, your information may be transferred to the new owners as part of the transaction.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures, as well as use trusted third parties (Stripe, Firebase, Apple, Google, Sentry) to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
