Import your whiskey collection into BRBNFNDR
Moving your collection starts with knowing what can come with it. BRBNFNDR has import routes for a BoozApp/BAXUS collection URL and compatible CSV files. Each route brings over different information, so keep your original records and check the result before relying on your new collection.

Before you import
- Keep an untouched copy of your original export. For a URL import, keep your existing collection available for comparison.
- Check the file's column headings and order. Do not rename or rearrange columns to make an unfamiliar file look compatible: an unexpected format can put information in the wrong fields even when an import appears to finish.
- Pick a few bottles to compare afterward, including an opened bottle, a finished bottle, and one with notes or special characters. Record the starting collection count and any quantities you need to preserve separately.
- Sign in to BRBNFNDR. If import or export is unavailable for your account, contact support before changing plans solely for migration.
The menu steps below are based on our app review; they have not yet been checked on a device for this guide. If your screen differs, contact support.
Import from BoozApp/BAXUS
- Copy the full BAXUS collection-page URL. The collection needs to be accessible without relying on your signed-in browser session. If it is private or inaccessible, ask support about your options.
- In BRBNFNDR, open Profile → Collection → Import & Export.
- Choose Import from BoozApp, enter the full collection URL, and start the import.
- Wait for the result. Review the imported and skipped counts, errors, and warnings, including any about images.
- Compare the imported records with your original collection using the checklist below.
An image warning does not necessarily mean the bottle was skipped. Some product images are excluded, and other images may not transfer. Check bottle records and image warnings separately.
Import a CSV file
For a BRBNFNDR export, keep the file's original headings and column order. For an OnlyDrams export or a spreadsheet from elsewhere, check the format with support first. An OnlyDrams file should not be assumed compatible just because it is a CSV.
- Save the CSV where your device's file picker can find it, keeping the original unchanged.
- Once the format is confirmed, open Profile → Collection → Import & Export → Import from CSV.
- Select the file and start the import.
- Review the final counts, errors, and warnings. Then check individual bottles against the original file.
If an import stops partway through or the results look wrong, do not immediately upload the whole file again. Some bottles may already have been added, and automatic duplicate merging has not been verified. Keep the result details and ask support what to do next.
What to check after a transfer
The routes below handle different fields. This is a guide to what to inspect, not a guarantee that every value will match your original records.

For all routes, compare counts and representative bottles. Check quantities separately, confirm actual purchase prices and dates, inspect notes and ratings, and correct opened or finished bottles before relying on totals or fill levels. Imported prices are not proof of what you paid or what a bottle is worth today. Do not assume valuations, photos, or consumption history came with the import.
Export selected collection fields to CSV
- Open Profile → Collection → Import & Export.
- Choose Export → Download CSV export and save the file.
- Open the saved spreadsheet and compare it with your collection before relying on it.
The CSV includes these fields: Bottle Name, Price, Purchase Date, Producer, Location, Fill %, Notes, Found via BRBNFNDR, Rating, and Sample.
The export does not include images, quantities, valuation data, or a separate opened-status field. Fill is expressed in whole percentages, sample prices may be blank, and structured notes may be simplified. It is a copy of selected fields, not a complete collection backup or a lossless export and re-import.
Preservation of accents, emoji, and other non-ASCII characters has not been verified on a device. Check bottle names and notes in the saved file, especially if those characters matter to your records. Keep the original records alongside the export.
Common questions
Can I bring over an OnlyDrams collection?
There is an OnlyDrams CSV import route, but current export compatibility remains unverified. Contact support before importing so the file's headings and column order can be checked. Opened and finished status also need manual review afterward.
Will my photos, quantities, and valuations transfer?
Do not rely on them transferring. Some BAXUS product images are excluded, and other images may be missing. Quantities and valuations should be checked against your original records separately. BRBNFNDR CSV export does not include those fields.
Will ratings and fill levels stay the same?
It depends on the route, and you should check them. BoozApp/BAXUS does not bring over ratings. OnlyDrams ratings are not established as transferable, and its opened/finished status can produce inaccurate fill levels. A BRBNFNDR CSV contains rating and fill fields, but it is not a full-fidelity backup.
Can I import the same file again to fix missing bottles?
Check with support first. A partial import may already have added bottles, and automatic duplicate merging has not been verified. Share the result counts and any errors or warnings so the next step can account for what is already there.
Can I export my collection later?
BRBNFNDR offers CSV export of the selected fields listed above. Keep separate records for information the export omits, and inspect the saved file before relying on it.
